AWS/CES is looking for a Process Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client
\nOur client is seeking a Process Engineer to lead new product introduction (NPI), process development, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This role will partner with Operations, Quality, and Plant Leadership to develop innovative manufacturing processes, support customer requirements, and optimize production performance.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nLead process development and support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through production.
\nDevelop manufacturing processes, work instructions, training materials, and process documentation.
\nCollaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver surface enhancement solutions that meet quality, delivery, and performance expectations.
\nDrive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and throughput.
\nCoordinate project plans, milestones, resources, and execution with Plant Leadership.
\nSupport quality initiatives by ensuring processes meet customer specifications and industry standards.
\nAssist with production planning, process optimization, and critical spare parts programs.
\nPromote a safe work environment while supporting company safety and quality objectives.
\nMaintain compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations and customer cybersecurity requirements.
\nQualifications
\nBachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
\n5–10 years of Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
\nExperience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives.
\nSolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD experience required.
\nFamiliarity with NADCAP, AS9100, aerospace, or medical manufacturing quality systems is preferred.
\nStrong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\nAbility to read engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and able to meet ITAR requirements.
