  • Seattle, WA

Job Description

Turning Point helps mid-market companies navigate challenges, strengthen financial performance, and build a path forward. Our services include CFO and financial advisory, turnaround and restructuring, and debt and capital advisory.

We’re growing our Restructure team and looking for a Consultant who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership, and turns financial analysis into practical action. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact for clients while working alongside a collaborative, experienced team!

Note: This is a hybrid role based out of our Seattle office, located in the Pike Place Market area. Client engagement is a core part of the work; consultants should expect to be onsite with clients periodically, at times more than one day per week.

About the role

As a Restructure Consultant, you’ll work with companies facing financial and operational challenges, helping them understand their position, evaluate options, and implement improvements.

You’ll manage client workstreams and, depending on your experience and the needs of the engagement, take on broader leadership responsibilities. Working closely with Turning Point leadership and colleagues, you’ll support multiple engagements across a variety of industries and communicate directly with client stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze financial statements and operating data to identify risks, opportunities, and priorities.
  • Build, evaluate, and maintain integrated three-statement financial models and 13-week cash flow forecasts.
  • Assess liquidity, cash requirements, and business performance to support turnaround and restructuring recommendations.
  • Apply an 80/20 approach, focusing on the issues that matter most and moving efficiently from analysis to action.
  • Help develop and implement practical solutions that improve operations, manage costs, and preserve value.
  • Manage engagement priorities, timelines, and deliverables, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.
  • Prepare clear analyses, presentations, and recommendations for clients and Turning Point leadership.
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver results and support clients through periods of uncertainty and change.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with financial and analytical skills, sound judgment, and a hands-on approach. Ideal candidates will bring most of the following:

  • Relevant experience in restructuring, turnaround consulting, financial advisory, or a related finance role.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing financial statements and working with integrated three-statement models and 13-week cash flow forecasts.
  • The ability to work through complex or incomplete information, identify key issues, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Experience contributing to client engagements or business initiatives that delivered measurable results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly to different audiences.
  • Initiative, accountability, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple engagements.
  • A practical, creative approach to problem-solving that balances urgency with thoughtful analysis.
  • A collaborative working style and respect for the perspectives and expertise of others.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client engagements as needed.
  • An undergraduate or advanced degree.
